It’s always good to have a positive, pick-me-up story on the site as baseball season arrives — it’s spring, when hope blooms for all baseball fans, and all mankind.
However we don’t do that here. Sorry. So here’s a post about shitty thieves preying on sick kids.
The Giants’ Hunter Pence had a quirky habit of traveling to home games on his electric scooter, until one day in 2014 he stopped to eat and had the scooter stolen from outside a restaurant. Fortunately it was returned after the publicity touched the heart of the thief.
Pence eventually donated the scooter to the San Francisco Make-A-Wish foundation, where it was stolen again sometime over the weekend.
