The New England Patriots are building a tight end heavy offense. A day after signing former Titan Jonnu Smith, the Pats locked up former Charger Hunter Henry. Henry will make $37.5 million over three years with $25 million of it guaranteed. The former Charger joins Smith among New England’s receiving corps in what should be one of the most lethal tight end combos in football next year. Smith signed a four-year, $50 million deal on Monday with $31.25 million guaranteed as the Patriots have now locked up the top-two tight ends that were available in free agency.
The 26-year-old Henry played 14 games last year for the Chargers and caught 60 catches for 613 yards and four touchdowns.
