Tuah the orangutan did a lot of research before making his Super Bowl pick on Thursday — he has a family tradition to uphold. His father, who was also a resident of the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, had predicted seven straight Super Bowl winners before dying in 2015. Now his son, 1-year-old Tuah, takes over the family business.

“Hello, Vegas? A thousand bucks on the Panthers, please.”
There was a one-year interval between the time that Tuah’s father died and the son took over. In 2015, an African lion named Vulcan made the zoo’s Super Bowl pick … and correctly chose the New England Patriots.
