Tight end Rob Gronkowski has agreed to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-year deal worth $10 million. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the deal.
The 10-year veteran joined the team last season, return to the field after announcing his retirement in 2019. Gronkowski appeared in 16 games, catching 45 passes for 623 yards and seven touchdowns, including a Super Bowl LV performance, where he caught six passes for 67 yards and two touchdowns.
A stacked receiving corp featuring Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown, Gronkowski accounted for an 11.81% target market share, placing him fourth among the group.
