Grayson Allen scored 15 points in 27 minutes tonight in Duke’s 110-57 win over Georgia Tech … wait, wasn’t Allen “suspended indefinitely” after tripping yet another opponent in a game on Dec. 22? And wasn’t that just two games games ago?
Well, yes. Turns out that Allen’s indefinite suspension lasted just one game.
When Allen tripped Elon’s Steven Santa Ana, Mike Krzyzewski put the hammer down, saying “As a program, we needed to take further steps regarding his actions that do not meet the standards of Duke Basketball.” He suspended Allen.
But all it took was a loss to Virginia Tech to convince everyone at Duke that Allen is a changed man.
