INDIANAPOLIS — Google’s self-driving car continued its dominance over the NASCAR circuit on Sunday in Indianapolis, crushing the competition at the Brickyard.
The victory was the ninth consecutive appearance in the winner’s circle by the driverless car that continues to circle the track again and again with flawless execution.
“This is why I’m staying retired,” said Jeff Gordon. “I can’t compete with these new driverless cars. The best part about driving before was knowing that all these guys out there were some of the dumbest people alive and could make a mistake at any moment that could get you the win.
