If you mention 1975 to a Philadelphia Flyers fan, they get salty. It was the last time that the franchise won a Stanley Cup. However, the city has seen success since then, but the Flyers have failed to raise the most prestigious trophy in sports for more than 40 years now.

There was a number that was synonymous with failure for Cleveland, too. 1964 was the year, but it wasn’t just for one team like Philadelphia – it was for the entire city. Notice the past tense there, as the drought came to an end in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers remarkable run.
