Todd Gurley autograph snitch Bryan Allen is not the most well-liked man in Georgia. But besides warranting anger, Allen’s actions are now punishable by law in the Peach State.
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal signed the “Todd Gurley Bill” (technically House Bill 3, named after Gurley’s jersey number) into law on Thursday, “making it a crime punishable by up to a year in prison to entice student athletes to break NCAA rules for money” according to the Associated Press.
Gurley earned a four-game suspension in 2014 after accepting money from a memorabilia dealer for his autographs.
