The Toronto Blue Jays may have to wait to show off their prized off-season acquisition as George Springer looks as though he will not be ready for Opening Day. According to his MRI results, Springer has reportedly progressed well from a Grade 2 oblique strain, but the Jays may want to play it safe with their newest investment. The former Houston Astro was diagnosed with the strain just over a week ago but was able to hit off a tee on Saturday and Sunday. Toronto will take as much time and thought as needed before making their final decision on putting Springer on the IL.
