Ever since her embittered title loss to Holly Holm, Ronda Rousey hasn’t been the same in the octagon, facing roadblock after roadblock along her bleak comeback attempt.
But on Friday Rousey found a huge bright spot to lean on with the announcement that she is engaged to UFC heavyweight fighter Travis Browne.
The formidable Browne, who is currently ranked as the No. 10 UFC heavyweigh and Rousey’s longtime boyfriend, proposed under a waterfall in New Zealand, according to SB Nation’s MMA site Bloody Elbow.
Perhaps planning a wedding and taking a honeymoon are just the distraction and break Rousey needs to rejuvenate herself before making yet another comeback attempt to UFC.
