ESPN executives must be thinking “C’mon man!” right about now.
After a recent article in ESPN the Magazine in which former San Francisco 49ers LB Chris Borland said a former player advised rookies at the 2014 Rookie Symposium to have a “fall guy” to take the blame when they have legal trouble, the Internet found footage of it and the former player in question turned out to be former Ohio State WR and Hall of Famer Cris Carter.
Said Carter: “If you all got a crew, you got to have a fall guy in the crew. If you all have a crew, one of those fools got to know, he’s the one going to jail.
