After Penn State’s official Twitter account tweeted about a police dog named Rudie and Notre Dame’s responded playfully suggested it should be spelled “Rudy,” PSU ethered the Fighting Irish with this: “Maybe, if the dog was offsides.”
The jab was in reference to Rudy Ruettiger’s famous sack in his last game for the Fighting Irish. While he wasn’t actually offsides, don’t let the facts get in the way of a good diss.
