Why a high school pep rally would require any outside assistance — let alone hiring a professional fire-breather — is beyond comprehension. Alas, there are high schools in Florida. Enter Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach, whose pre-SAT pep rally literally backfired when a hired performer attempted to breath fire inside some sort of bouncy castle (and failed), sending hundreds of kids into a frenzy and eight people to the hospital. Nice work, Atlantic Community High School.
Although the failed performance did not yield much in the way of helpful test-taking strategies, it did offer an opportunity to prepare students for the analogy portion of the exam.
