Joey Bosa will try to cement his place as one of the greatest defensive players in Ohio State history next season, joining among others, Steve Tovar.
Tovar is fourth on the school’s all-time tackles list, racking up 408 from 1989-92. Among his accolades were Big Ten Defensive Player of the Years honors as a senior. The Bengals selected Tovar in the third round of the 1993 draft and he spent eight years in the NFL. Afterward, he had assistant coaching positions in college and the pros.
He left football entirely to pursue jobs in operations management and career services at Northern Illinois where, according to his LinkedIn profile, he worked from August 2011-August 2013.
