We’ve officially entered the post-Skip Bayless era at ESPN — his last day was Tuesday. I just checked the conference room where they had his going-away party, and apparently no one showed up. I took home an entire cake.
According to ESPN radio’s Ryen Russillo, nobody at ESPN liked Skip, and they’re all glad he’s gone. The ego was the big problem, said Russillo. NY Post:
“The problem is when you disagree with Skip, you’re not allowed to,” Russillo said on his show, co-hosted by former Giants quarterback Danny Kanell. “Then he gets mad at you about it.
