Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports Evan Longoria will miss Tuesday’s game between the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Angels because of an intercostal strain.

Longoria played in the series opener Monday, a 6-1 win, going 2-for-2 with a home run. This season, his fourth with the Giants, he has appeared in 48 games, slashing .274/.360/.510 with nine home runs. Last season, a regular starter, he played 53 games, hitting .254 with seven home runs and a .297 OBP.
Mauricio Dubon will take over third base duties for Longoria, batting seventh.
