BRISTOL, CT — Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow held a workout for 28 Major League Baseball scouts on Tuesday in Los Angeles, some 3,000 miles away from the headquarters of ESPN, where he is employed as an analyst for the SEC Network. The highly public search for a new job was not lost on many of his co-workers and bosses at the network.
“Sports media is a competitive industry and I’m not going to be naive and say that he’s the first ESPN employee to sniff around for opportunities they might think are better,” said ESPN president John Skipper.
