Drew Brees is retiring from the NFL after 20 seasons in the league.
Brees is among the all-time greats at quarterback, and his illustrious career comes to an end with a myriad of accomplishments. Brees is retiring as the all-time leading passer to go along with 571 touchdowns, which ranks second all-time. He’s a Super Bowl Champion, 13 time Pro Bowler, one-time All-Pro, Comeback Player of the Year, and Walter Payton Man of the Year.
The void left at the quarterback position will be tough to fill for the New Orleans Saints. Utility man Taysom Hill started eight games this season while Brees was sidelined with multiple injuries, but the Saints also signed Jameis Winston the previous off-season.
