There has been a ton of momentum over the past few months for the Oakland Raiders to head to Las Vegas. After years of being strongly against the idea, it seems as if the tide (see: $$) is beginning to turn in Las Vegas’ favor. The city has been dying for a professional sports team for years and acquiring the Raiders would be a major coup for Vegas. Not only would they get a professional sports team, but an NFL franchise, would be massive. The Raiders have been trying to get a new stadium in Oakland for years (just like their co-tenants the Athletics).
