At one point this season, Cam Newton got benched after a series in which they ran the football all three plays. It seemed kind of insane. Like was it Cam’s fault they didn’t pick up a first down when he didn’t throw a pass? So, it just seemed like the fit in New England was not working out. They really need to upgrade their wide receiving corps, but first, they lock-up Newton. This is not a move that should be jolting the Super Bowl odds in any way, shape, or form. Those things will likely be staying pat for the Pats, where they are expected to win the AFC East.
