Covid-19 continues to wreak havoc on the Cleveland Browns locker room. Their well-documented problems are made worse, following news from Field Yates that starting cornerback Denzel Ward has been ruled out on Sunday.
Ward, who also missed week 17 against the Steelers due to covid-19, has been a stalwart on defence all season. He’s started 72% of snaps, is tied for the team lead in interceptions with two and is tied for second in the league with 18 passes defended. Ward’s absence is a huge blow to the Browns already depleted team. With cornerback Kevin Johnson also ruled out, the Browns secondary is a huge liability Sunday.
