DeMarcus Cousins hit just one 3-pointer at Kentucky and has a grand total of 11 in five NBA seasons. But the 6-foot-11 center set up shop downtown in an exhibition on Sunday between Kentucky and North Carolina alumni and proved he’s expanded his range.
Boogie was draining shots from all over 3-point land, including one from the UK logo at center court. Cousins dropped 33 points and grabbed 18 boards en route to a 122-115 Wildcats victory.
The game featured stars aplenty from both sides and former Tar Heel Harrison Barnes led all scorers with 39 points.
