It’s a rest day for the Spurs in Phoenix on Saturday as multiple players will not suit up for San Antonio. DeMar DeRozan is the most significant player to receive a maintenance day. The Spurs’ leading scorer and assist man averaging 21.2 points and 7.2 assists per game will take a seat in the second leg of a back-to-back. DeRozan had 26 points and ten assists in a one-point Spurs loss to the Trail Blazers last night. Jakob Poeltl had 17 points and three blocks in over 30 minutes last night to earn his off day, while Patty Mills played 20 minutes off the bench in the loss.
