Daydrion Taylor’s hit on Bob Stephenson from the 1997 Michigan-Penn State game is one of the most resonant in college football history.
Taylor was a defensive back for Michigan in 1996 and ‘97 and had plenty of promise, but the punishing hit on Stephenson ended his playing career.
Taylor got his bachelor’s degree in 1999. He became a coach’s assistant and eventually got his teaching certificate at Prairie View A&M in Texas.
As of 2012, Taylor was a physical education teacher and high school football coach.
