America needed this news. Dave Chappelle, who abandoned his popular Comedy Central show in 2006 and hasn’t been seen on TV since, is coming back in a pretty splashy way on Nov. 12. That’s when he’s set to host Saturday Night Live‘s first post-election episode.
The musical guest will be A Tribe Called Quest, who is set to release their first album since 1998.
Chappelle, who lives with his wife and two sons in Yellow Springs, Ohio, never quite standup — he appears somewhat frequently on stage, sometimes just showing up at a venue without warning.
