Conan O’Brien’s TBS show will undergo an overhaul this fall, moving away from monologues and couch guests to focus on remote bits and other things produced away from the studio. That’s his strength, IMO (“>this Conan remote piece may be the funniest ever done for late night).
Looks like the new format didn’t get here soon enough, however. A freelance writer has accused O’Brien and his writers of stealing five of his jokes, some from Twitter, and some from his blog. And a judge ruled that a trial can go forward on three of the jokes.
