This may be the most unusual public beef in college football.
Paul Finebaum likely set off many Miami fans when he called the Hurricanes’ head coaching post “an absolutely terrible job,” calling the program bankrupt and the fanbase delusional. “They’re living in the past with no future,” he said.
One prominent fan in particular, “Meet The Press” host Chuck Todd, was miffed:

Todd is allowed to be upset and defend his team, but by invoking “The U” teams of yesteryear he sort of proved Finebaum’s point.
