COVID-19 couldn’t have hit the Cleveland Browns at a more inopportune time. After being without virtually their entire wide receiving corps on Sunday, the Browns will now add tight end Harrison Bryant and free safety Andrew Sendejo to the COVID-19 reserve list.
Bryant is Cleveland’s backup tight end while Sendejo is their starting free safety.
The number of Browns on the reserve list has now grown to eight players.
It’s not clear if Bryant and Sendejo tested positive for the virus or if they came in contact with someone who tested positive.
According to the NFL guidelines, a positive test would require a 10-day quarantine, but if this is a precautionary measure without a positive test, both players could return much earlier.
