The Grizzlies have been playing shorthanded recently, and they are expected to be without Clarke, Winslow, and Melton Friday vs. the Knicks. Winslow and Melton have already been ruled out, while Clarke is currently doubtful with a calf injury. Those three players have combined for an average of 65.8 minutes per game this season, so their absences have opened up some playing time.
That said, there hasn’t been a real beneficiary from a playing time perspective. Ja Morant led the team with 31.3 minutes with all three players out of the lineup on Wednesday, and 10 players saw at least 14.
