On Wednesday it was announced that the the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals had denied Tom Brady’s appeal for an en banc rehearing in the Deflategate case. So to put it simply, the only thing standing between Brady and his four-game suspension was the U.S. Supreme Court. As it turns out, even Brady has hit a saturation point with the entire ordeal, as he announced on Friday that he will not pursue further action on his case by taking it to the Highest Court in the Land.

Now the players union could still have this case season by the Supreme Court, on the grounds of sorting out the constitutionality of the CBA and the relationship between the player’s union and the NFL.
