File this one under “things that would never happen on a Jim Harbaugh recruiting trip.”
If Harbaugh’s recruiting style could be classified as “tenacious,” then former Michigan football head coach Brady Hoke operated on whatever the opposite end of the spectrum is called. This wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, as evidenced by this anecdote from Wolverines RB De’Veon Smith.
De'Veon Smith remembering Brady Hoke's recruiting trip to his house. He loved Hoke. "He came over and fell asleep on my couch."
