The FCS has not calmed Bo Pelini down. Not one bit.
Pelini was apparently his trademark self during the waining moments of Youngstown State’s loss against FCS No. 2 North Dakota State on Saturday. Down 27-24, his Penguins got the ball at their own 30-yard-line with 29 seconds left.
Those seem like reasonable circumstances to mount a game-tying drive and probably would have been, if not for Pelini committing two unsportsmanlike penalties that eventually gave his team a 4th-and-36 from its own 4-yard-line with 14 seconds left.
