Bills Release John Brown and Quinton Jefferson

Most NFL teams will be scrambling for cap space this offseason, and the Bills have freed up some dollars by moving on from two players on Wednesday. Releasing Brown saves the team nearly $8M in cap space, but he will definitely be missed. He struggled last year with injuries, but he averaged a career-best 70.7 receiving yards per game in 2019. With Brown out of the picture, Gabriel Davis will likely take over as the No. 3 wide receiver alongside Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley.

The Bills also released Jefferson in a much smaller move. He graded out as the No.
