Major League Baseball continues its efforts to ramp up vaccinations for its players, and it’s expected that some players will experience side effects different from other members of the public have. That could be exactly what Houston’s DH Yordan Alvarez is experiencing at the moment.
According to Houston’s beat reporter Brian McTaggart, Astros skipper Dusty Baker advised that Alvarez is still undergoing some tests; thus, he’ll be unavailable for Thursday’s series finale against the Mariners. However, Baker’s not ready to rule out Alvarez for their game on Friday against the Rays just yet.
