USA Today’s Mark Medina reports that Lakers star Anthony Davis is hopeful of returning to the court for Thursday’s away game against the Dallas Mavericks. The eight-time All-Star hasn’t played since Feb. 14 due to a calf strain and Achilles tendinosis.
Anthony Davis said he hopes to play tomorrow vs Dallas assuming he still feels okay.
If he does play, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel plans to limit him to no more than 15 minutes in the game. Davis’s return would be a step in the right direction for a Lakers team without their other superstar in LeBron James.
