Fabian Ardaya of TheAthleticMLB reports that Angels’ third baseman Anthony Rendon could come off the injury list when they travel to Arlington to take on the Rangers in their next series. Rendon is working his way back from a groin injury, and while he was initially expected to return in the series against the Astros, he’ll have to wait a few more days to rejoin the team.
Joe Maddon said Max Stassi and Juan Lagares are “pretty darn close” and could be activated this series.
