Peyton Manning may think that he has it made when he officially begins his retirement, what wth all his Papa John’s, Nationwide and Budweiser money. But compared to American Pharoah, Manning is strictly low rent.
For one thing, he ain’t making a $200,000 per night stud fee.
American Pharoah, the first Triple Crown winner since 1978 (Manning only won two Super Bowls, and these were several years apart), is now retired. And that means, hello ladies. According to Monte Reel of Bloomberg, the 4-year-old is probably going to command one of the highest stud fees ever — in the neighborhood of $200,000 per foal produced.
