The NBA trade deadline may be in the rearview mirror, but that isn’t going to stop teams from making roster moves. Al Horford is the latest veteran big man to see his time with his team come to an end, although not in the way we have typically come to expect. The Oklahoma City Thunder will sit the veteran big man for the remainder of the season to create more playing time for their younger players. In an “I hope we can still be friends” type-move, Horford will remain with the team and continue to use their facilities. It’s expected that the Thunder will trade Horford in the off-season.
