Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism has produced a lot of successful members of the media community, specifically a very loud and proud chunk of today’s sports media.
Despite being a longtime participant in Division I athletics, this is the school’s first ever tournament bid after 78 years of falling short. Northwestern has been on the precipice of joining the college basketball elite for a while, and so their sports media graduates are ecstatic to finally be a part of one of the funnest sports traditions of the year.
