There was no “lightning rod” in college basketball like former Ole Miss star Marshall Henderson. The Rebels guard was a one-man wrecking crew who brought an unchecked swagger (and typically an ensuing controversy) wherever he went. His tumultuous young life included doing 25 days in jail for trying to buy $800 worth of marijuana with counterfeit money as a high schooler (but not until 2012 because he violated probation, testing positive for cocaine and marijuana), transferring from Utah after one year, transferring from Texas Tech before even playing a game, becoming the best JuCo player in the country and spinning out a nightly trove of entertainment and trolling with Ole Miss.
