The New York Jets have traded All-Pro safety Jamal Adams to the Seattle Seahawks in a deal that will net them first-round draft picks in each of the next two years, according to sources.
The Seahawks will send safety Bradley McDougald, first-round picks in 2021 and 2022 and a third-round pick in 2021 to New York in exchange for Adams and the Jets' fourth-round pick in 2022.
Adams, who is seeking a new contract, requested a trade last month because he is not happy with the progress in negotiations, sources said.
