HOUSTON -- Quentin Millora-Brown had 21 points to go with eight rebounds as Rice dominated the second half to roll over Northwestern State 102-74 on Saturday afternoon.
Rice (3-2) led throughout but could not break free of Northwestern State until the Owls opened the second half on a 15-4 run. Rice (3-2) led 39-35 at the break but smashed the Demons 63-39 in the second half for an easy win.
Drew Peterson drilled 6 of 8 from long range to total 18 points as five Owls hit double figures and 10 put points on the board.
