HOUSTON -- Boston Scott powered straight up the middle for a 2-yard touchdown and Trey Spencer returned a pick-6 -- both in the final minute -- as Louisiana Tech rallied to a 42-28 win over Rice on Saturday.
Scott had earlier scored on runs of 5 and 6 yards as he tied his career high with three TDs in a game. He gained 87 yards on 17 carries.
Sam Glaesmann led Rice on fourth-quarter scoring drives of 61 and 83 yards as the Owls pulled even at 28-28 with 4:33 left.
