Police received reports of a shooting about 4 p.m. Tuesday near 300 East and Center Street, according to Provo police. Officers found Freya Larsen, 27, had been shot once in the head, police said. She was taken to Utah Valley Hospital, where she died.
Investigators have detained a “person of interest,” police wrote. Officers told FOX 13 the man also is 27, and he is cooperating with investigators.
