Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas are very close to one another in the western conference standings. RSL sit in the 7th and final playoff spot on 30 points with Dallas just above them on 32 points. This is a game with major playoff implications and if Real could find all three points in Dallas, that would be huge for their chances to stay above the line. The Dynamo are on 30 points, but behind RSL on goal difference, and the Timbers are on 28. If results go against Real this weekend, they could find themselves as low as 9th place in the standings.
