West Valley City police asked the public for help Thursday afternoon in locating a missing 59-year-old man. Wesley Butcher was last seen on foot in the area of 2800 South and 3200 West and has been missing since early Thursday morning.
It is urgent that we find Mr. Butcher because he is almost entirely deaf and suffers from mental illness. He has been missing since early this morning, which is highly unusual for him, and his family is extremely concerned. Please call 801-840-4000 if spotted.

Butcher is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, khaki pants and a University of Utah ball cap.
