Davis, a sophomore running back out of Sandy had the best view in the house — from the sideline — for most of the second quarter of Weber State’s Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinal game against Montana. He left with an injury late in the second quarter Friday night and didn’t take the field with the Wildcats’ offense to start the second half. When he did come in, he was right on time.
Davis scored on an 11-yard slant pass from junior quarterback Jake Constantine when he entered the game with Weber State facing third and 4 at the Montana 11.
