The Utah men's basketball team showed some offensive capability Thursday in the first half of its only exhibition game of the 2018-19 season at the Huntsman Center.
The Utes scored 57 points in the half on the way to a 96-76 victory over NAIA member College of Idaho.
Utah showed some signs of immaturity in the second half, though. With six minutes left in the game, the Yotes had cut Utah's lead to 78-63, outscoring the home team 34-21 in the first 14 minutes of the half.
Freshman forward Timmy Allen led the Utes with 18 points and Donne Tillman and Both Gach added 12 each.
