Utah sophomore guard Timmy Allen was named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Monday. The award comes after Allen scored 25 points to go along with nine rebounds and four assists in a 69-66 upset win over the sixth-ranked Wildcats in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
Allen followed that up by scoring a game-high 21 points Saturday in an 80-52 loss to 20th-ranked San Diego State on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Allen, who was previously named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Dec. 9 after big efforts against BYU and Central Arkansas, currently leads the Pac-12 in scoring at 21.
