Washington • Sen. Mike Lee and Mitt Romney on Wednesday voted against a compromise budget deal that only passed with Democratic support in the GOP-led Senate as many Republicans denounced the package that raises funding levels and hikes the nation’s credit card to stave off a default.
The measure passed 67-28 and now heads to President Donald Trump who had urged Republicans to get behind the bill. The House previously approved the legislation.
Budget Deal is phenomenal for our Great Military, our Vets, and Jobs, Jobs, Jobs! Two year deal gets us past the Election.
